Add on courses in areas like, science courses, computer, Communication skill, Agricultural Chemistry, English are being introduced.

Government Science College, Idar was established on 1st, June-2008 due to persistent persuasion and recommendation of Shri Ramanlal Vora , Hon. Minister of Education for a science college in the rural area of Sabarkantha District. In response to this and state Government's attempt to furnish higher education in backward / Tribal areas, Government Science College, Idar came into existence.
